Tom Hardy and Josh Trank have worked together on Capone

Capone, starring Tom Hardy, has just been released digitally this week and the show’s director, Josh Trank, has just revealed that he will be joining forces once again with the actor in an untitled limited series.

Academy Award nominee, Tom Hardy is reported to be starring in the show that is based on the formation of the CIA. Director Josh Trank recently spoke with Collider, announcing the information and he also revealed that he and Hardy will serve as producers for the project which he described as “interesting, dangerous and fascinating.”

He continued, I’m working on this limited series that Tom Hardy is producing and that he’s involved in and he’s very excited about, and I’m excited about,” Trank said.  “[and it’s] a story that spans decades, from right at the end of World War II and concerning the formation of the CIA, but from a point of view that hasn’t really been seen in a movie or in television before, and is just mentioned in books. It deals a lot with Castro and Cuba, and capitalism versus Communism. It’s really big. Sort of the, you know, capitalism versus communism. It’s really big.”
