It wasn’t so long ago that we heard Will Smith, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie, as you can find out here, were close to signing on for the SUICIDE SQUAD MOVIE and according to Collider, Robbie is down to play The Jokers girlfriend/henchwoman Harley Quinn.
With rumours circulating about The Joker being involved in the movie and FIGHT CLUB STAR, Jared Leto, to take the role, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see the Batman: The Animated Series character in the new movie.
Via the TV show and video games, Harley Quinn has quickly become a really popular female character in the DC Universe, who’s often seen as a likable anti-hero.
The character’s origins revolve around her story with The Joker, who psychologically manipulated her into being infatuated with him, after she tried to help him as a psychologist at Arkham Asylum.
However, there are no confirmations yet and no details on how this possible character will be written. Keep an eye out for more information!
