Australian actor Jai Courtney is well known for his roles in JACK REACHER, A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD and recent book adapted film DIVERGENT but now it looks like he’s up for a big role in much anticipated Suicide Squad movie.Â
Known as being a bad-ass villain in the Batman universe, Deadshot has been tipped to become a major character in the Suicide Squad narrative and rumour has it Courtney’s very much up for the part.
One of Deadshot’s most well known traits in the DC Universe is his desire to die in the most spectacular way. Could this mean we’ll get a real  lose cannon in the super-villain gang?Â
If Courtney signs the dotted line he’ll be joining Margot Robbie who’s down to play Harley Quinn as well as both Tom Hardy and Will Smith who are said to be in the final stages of negotiations for the film.Â
It seems Hardy will play the Suicide Squad’s founding member Rick Flagg and Will Smith is up for Captain Boomerang, The Flash’s mortal enemy!Â
Directed by David Ayer, SUICIDE SQUAD IS out in the US August 2016, with a UK date to be confirmed.Â
