Opening box office weekend is over and the stats for AVENGERS: ENDGAME are in! The final instalment has brought in a staggering towering $350 million domestic and $1.2 billion in its global debut so far.

We’re not surprised by the statistics after we previously revealed that the movie has broken records in its opening day in China. The film company have stated that the film has already racked up approximately $107.2 million (719 million Renminbi) on its opening day (including Midnight shows on Tuesday).

As a result, this has bagged the highest opening day of all-time in China and has already broken the record for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, which recorded an opening of $67 million.

The film debuted 32% ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens which opened to $119 million on its first day, and 47% ahead of Avengers: Infinity War which opened with $106 million on its first day.

Last year’s Avengers: Infinity War saw the titular superhero team take the fight to Thanos in order to stop his quest of exterminating half of the universe’s population with the Infinity stones, but it was to no avail, as he was able to successfully collect them all and snap his fingers, wiping out half of everyone from existence in a cloud of ash, including Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), King T’Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Groot (Vin Diesel), Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Mantis (Pom Klementief), Drax (Dave Bautista), Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), as well as Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Hope van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lily), Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), though Fury was able to send a signal to Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
