Paramount Pictures has released a brand new trailer featuring Owen Wilson as Hansel for the upcoming movie, ZOOLANDER 2 which you can see above.
In the original 2001 comedy, boho supermodel Hansel was fashion’s freshest face, threatening the top-model status of Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller). Now, 15 years later, Hansel and Derek are totally washed-up and out-of-style, but the frenemies team up to help an Interpol agent (Penélope Cruz) crack a global conspiracy to assassinate the world’s most beautiful people.
ZOOLANDER 2 was directed by Stiller, with Justin Theroux writing the screenplay. Stuart Cornfeld, Scott Rudin, and Clayton Townsend all served as producers. Stiller also produced under his Red Hour Films banner. Stiller previously directed, co-wrote and produced the 2001 comedy ZOOLANDER. That film went on to gross over $60 million at the global box office.
Fans of the first film have been eagerly anticipating the sequel ever since it was officially announced in typically flamboyant Zoolander-style at Paris Fashion Week back in March, when Stiller and Wilson strutted their stuff on the runway of Maison Valentino’s show.
