Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are set to star in the new comedy DADDY’S HOME.

The pair have already worked together on the successful buddy cop comedy THE OTHER GUYS and the duo look set to unite for another outing.

Shooting will begin later this year with directors Sean Anders (HORRIBLE BOSSES 2) and John Morris at the helm, with a release date to be announced later on.

The script will also have some input from STEP BROTHERS director, Adam McKay.

The comedy will follow a divorced man who decides to visit his ex-wife and her new husband and cause all sorts of problems between them.

It is not known yet who between Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell will play the jilted husband, and who will be the new and seemingly uptight spouse – though fans of The Other Guys may be able to guess.

President of the Paramount Film Group, Adam Goodman, said: “Will and Mark are the absolute perfect on-screen duo to take on this hilarious project… we are thrilled this movie is getting underway.”

Daddy’s Home is scheduled for a 2015 release, more details will follow.
