Watch the First Trailer for Season 3 of Hannibal

HANNIBAL fans, take a big breath… the first trailer for season three has been released and it is slow, gripping and intense.

In the trailer, we see Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is on the hunt for Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) in the new clip and joining them in the new series have been a new casting ensemble, including Broadway star Nina Arianda as Will Graham’s wife and Richard Armitage has been cast as Francis Dolarhyde, the serial killer known as The Tooth Fairy. This isn’t the first time audiences have met this character, having been played by both Tom Noonan in Michael Mann‘s MANHUNTER and Ralph Fiennes in Brett Renner‘s RED DRAGON. 

The premiere date of the NBC psychological drama’s third run was recently pushed back from midseason until summer 2015 and it seems the new episodes are to set to surprise the audience with its unpredictable change of plot.

Season three will certainly get off to an action-packed, adrenaline fuelled start as we see Hannibal on the run with Bedelia (Gillian Anderson) in Europe, following the mass blood spillage in season two’s finale which left the fates of Will, Alana (Caroline Dhavernas), Jack (Laurence Fishburne) and Abigail (Kacey Rohl) up in the air.

With scenes still being shot in Canada, it seems we have to wait a little while longer until HANNIBAL hits our screens this summer on NBC and for us on the other side of the ocean, the new season will once again air on Sky Living.
