The Endgame cast has assembled for its very own version of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” Check out the hilarious footage below!
Not sure what you’ve just seen? Why are they doing this you may ask. Well they have joined forces to provide a recap of the happenings in the blockbuster franchise and quite touchingly, it also pays tribute to the late Stan Lee, the mastermind behind our favourite superheroes.
The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon leads the musical parody with 10 members of the cast: Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (The Incredible Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chris Evans (Captain America), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Danai Gurira (Okoye) and Brie Larson (Captain Marvel). Last year’s Avengers: Infinity War saw the titular superhero team take the fight to Thanos in order to stop his quest of exterminating half of the universe’s population with the Infinity stones, but it was to no avail, as he was able to successfully collect them all and snap his fingers, wiping out half of everyone from existence in a cloud of ash, including Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), King T’Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Groot (Vin Diesel), Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Mantis (Pom Klementief), Drax (Dave Bautista), Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), as well as Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Hope van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lily), Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), though Fury was able to send a signal to Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
Having lost so many popular cast members at the end of INFINITY WAR was so devastating, however ENDGAME will see the return of many familiar faces.
