A Royal Night Out

Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of our country – and a royal rebel? Who would have thought it? When she was younger she  snuck out of Buckingham Palace to party with the public on the day the Second World War ended.

The future queen and her sister Princess Margaret in disguise, celebrated with jubilant crowds on the streets of London on 15th May 1945. It’s definitely a story we would like to hear more about, so no wonder the director Julian Jarrold has decided to take it to the big screen to mark the 70th anniversary of VE Day later this year and now we get to see the first trailer.

A Royal Night Out

The movie originally had Dakota Fanning, Juno Temple, Olivia Williams, Paddy Considine, and Jeremy Irvine rumoured to be attached to the project, but we are very pleased to see A ROYAL NIGHT OUT has a different ensemble of actors who are as equally fabulous.
