Batman V Superman

The official trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, has been released early after an online leak.

The Dark Knight has risen again … and a little bit earlier than expected. The trailer has arrived earlier than the scheduled Monday slot after an illegal Portuguese subtitled version of the trailer appeared online on Friday of the very dark 2016 film BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE.

Due to the leak, Warner Bros. has gone ahead and given fans a high-quality look at Zack Snyder’s dark sequel, which finally gives us a first look at Henry Cavill‘s Superman in action and of course Ben Affleck makes his debut as Batman (you can watch the trailer below).

Snyder had previously announced that the trailer would be screened in select US Imax cinemas on Monday, before being attached to the release of THE AVENGERS: THE AGE OF ULTRON.

The film, based on the DC Comics characters also stars Jesse Eisenberg as villain Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Wayne’s butler Alfred, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Only Batman and Superman, who will do battle in the film, can be seen in the trailer. Take a look at it below:
