Look out London! Tom Cruise may be dashing about in the darkness on a street near you…
The 52-year-old actor is in the capital shooting some scenes for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5, with Cruise reprising his role as Ethan Hunt in the hotly anticipated movie, which will also stars Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin and Ving Rhames.
As we all know, the actor is a bit of a daredevil when it comes to doing his own stunts and he looked completely unfazed as he sprinted in front of oncoming cars late on Friday night when visibility was especially poor because of rain and mist – as you do…
He was not alone in his mission, as his co-star Rebecca Ferguson bravely followed behind as he dodged between the swerving vehicles on the busy road in freezing temperatures in London. The weather was not a hindrance for the actor, who has become climatized to the cold thanks to his stint in the capital over Christmas shooting scenes in and around London’s Piccadilly Circus tube station.
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5 has also taken the stars of the movie to a variety of locations including Austria, Monaco and Morocco.
It is not yet clear what the actual plot for the film and the scenes being shot offer no more information than providing high-octane action, which we have become accustomed to in the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise.
The film is due to hit cinemas July 31st in the US and the UK.Â
