Timothy Olyphant will be in the upcoming second season of the live-action STAR WARS TV series on Disney+

It seems that the cast for Disney+’s hit Star Wars spin-off series The Mandalorian is continuing to grow after a new cast member has joined the show – Timothy Olyphant.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD star Timothy Olyphant, has joined the cast, but nothing is yet officially known about who he will be playing in the series Star Wars universe.

The 51-year-old Emmy nominee will appear in the secretive second season which will see the return of Michael Biehn (THE TERMINATOR) as “a bounty hunter from The Mando’s past,” Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) as Bo-Katan Kryze, a Mandalorian warrior, Temuera Morrison (STAR WARS: ATTACK OF THE CLONES) as Boba Fett and recent rumours have also pointed to Rosario Dawson (Daredevil) playing Ahsoka Tano, the former Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker who turned into a spymaster for the Rebel Alliance.

There will be a few people in the director’s chair for the new series who have been confirmed to call the shots on the show including Robert Rodriguez (ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL) and ANT-MAN franchise director Peyton Reed, who have joined returning director Dave Filloni and show creator Jon Favreau, who also is directing an episode.
