The release of AVENGERS: ENDGAME is just around the corner and we can’t contain our excitement… and neither can the directors of of the movie, Joe and Anthony Russo. They, along with some of the surviving superheroes, are on their press tour in Shanghai and have been sharing some fun snaps and videos of their time there so far.
The cast and creators have been enjoying the ‘ride’ of the press tour (pardon the pun) and took to social media to show how much they have been enjoying the rides at Disneyland in Shanghai, China.
The Russo Brothers took to Instagram to apologise to some of the stars of the movie for having fun with surviving superhero Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth:
‘Missing you @tomholland2013 and @markruffalo. Remember this from last year boys? Sorry we dusted you Tom. Had a blast with @chrishemsworth this year…#whereisendgame’
Of course, Thor himself couldn’t wait to share some of his snaps and videos from his time at Disneyland too. It looks like they’re working really hard…
How they managed to keep hold of their phones during the intensity of the rides remains a mystery to us. Maybe it’s their superhero strength that helps them…
Jeremy Renner took to the TRON ride with Hemsworth, which was very reminiscent of Thor’s journey in THOR: RAGNAROK to meet the Grandmaster, except this time, he looked a little bit more relaxed…
Being on press tour in Shanghai gave Renner an opportunity to get back at Hemsworth, by drawing above Thor’s head on the AVENGERS: ENDGAME poster.
We know there is no real animosity between them though and they are thoroughly enjoying their fun-filled adventure. Hawkeye, sorry- Jeremy Renner, also shared some lovely photos of being reunited with Paul Rudd (a.k.a Ant-Man).
A few days ago, we also saw a new trailer with a few new snippets of footage along with “whatever it takes” status, a trip down memory lane of all previous 21 Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and a lovely final shot with the surviving superheroes at Avengers HQ in their Quantum Realm suits… please pass us another tissue!
Last year’s Avengers: Infinity War saw the titular superhero team take the fight to Thanos in order to stop his quest of exterminating half of the universe’s population with the Infinity stones, but it was to no avail, as he was able to successfully collect them all and snap his fingers, wiping out half of everyone from existence in a cloud of ash, including Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), King T’Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Groot (Vin Diesel), Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Mantis (Pom Klementief), Drax (Dave Bautista), Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), as well as Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Hope van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lily), Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), though Fury was able to send a signal to Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
Having lost so many popular cast members at the end of INFINITY WAR was so devastating, however ENDGAME will see the return of many familiar faces. Confirmed cast members for the untitled fourth Avengers film so far include Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olson, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Tom Holland, Paul Rudd, Jon Favreau, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Evangeline Lilly, Katherine Langford and Josh Brolin.
