Steve Jobs

The Steve Jobs biopic from screenwriter Aaron Sorkin has been dropped by Sony despite it’s impressive crew and rumoured cast consisting of Seth Rogan, Christian Bale and Michael Fassbender.

Apparently the project has been just too difficult for the company to get off the ground and so they’ve decided to ditch it.

With the incredible Danny Boyle in the directors chair and the likes of  Seth Rogan, Jessica Chastain and most recently, Michael Fassbender, being linked to the project, it’s fairly surprising that Sony has decided to call it quits.

Not all is lost for the story though, which revolves around three major Apple product launches, as the project was quickly snapped up by Universal.

It was only just recently that Sorkin revealed that Steve Jobs’ daughter, Lisa, would play a major part in the narrative. Sorkin went as far as to describe her as the heroine of the story.

With a lead to yet be officially confirmed, we’re keeping a close eye over at Fassbender headquarters! Could he be our Steve Jobs?
