With BIRDMAN’s release coming early next year and with lots of hype surrounding the movie, it’s worth taking a minute to see what all the fuss is about in the brand new featurette called Levels Upon Levels.
Michael Keaton plays Riggan, an actor once famous for playing a Batman-like character who’s since fallen on tough times. His shot of redemption and one last chance of creating something fantastic is a Broadway play charting the triumphs and disasters of a man not entirely dissimilar to Riggan himself.
From Alejandro G. Iñárritu‘s BIRDMAN we have already seen a clip of Michael Keaton and Zach Galifinakis sharing some witty dialogue and we discovered a bit more about Edward Norton’s character, Mike, who battles against Mr. Big-Ego himself, Riggan.
In the new featurette, we hear from the director, Iñárritu who shares his thoughts on the film as we ‘navigate the thoughts of what Riggan is going through’ and Michael Keaton discusses his role and the different layers that make up his intriguing character.
Keaton is supported by a superb cast that boasts Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Zach Galifinakis and Naomi Watts.
