There may be no more big Marvel films on its way this year, but that gives fans of the Marvel Universe a chance to be excited about their next big small screen success, in the form of JESSICA JONES.
In the second series in their Netflix quartet is JESSICA JONES and following the first teaser, we have been treated to the release of the official stills.
JESSICA JONES will be hoping to be as successful as its Marvel counterpart DAREDEVIL and with the great cast involved the series, that is a big pulling power itself.
Krysten Ritter is leading the show playing the titular character, who after a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.
Ritter is joined by an amazing cast including David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval, among others.
Marvel’s JESSICA JONES on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter”) and Liz Friedman (“Elementary”), along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Smallville,” “Heroes”), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
JESSICA JONES arrives on November 20th.
