Marvel’s JESSICA JONES – the second of Netflix’s four Marvel shows – will debut on November 20th, 2015 in all territories where Netflix is available and a new teaser trailer has been also been released.

There will be 13 one-hour episodes based on the comic book Alias by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Michael Gaydos. The upcoming show will focus on Jones (Krysten Ritter), a former costumed superhero who is now working in New York as a private investigator. Alongside Ritter, the casting line-up includes David Tennant, Rachael Taylor, and Carrie-Anne Moss. Mike Colter, who plays Luke Cage, will appear as the character for the first time in JESSICA JONES.

Jessica Jones

JESSICA JONES is the second of four planned live-action Marvel adaptations coming to Netflix. DAREDEVIL WAS the first, premiering on April 10th this year and currently Marvel’s LUKE CAGE and IRON FIRST both in production.

Fans of comic books, do not fear that once all four series have aired that will be the end, as the characters will team up for Marvel’s THE DEFENDERS, a crossover show focusing on the street-level superhero team.

JESSICA JONES arrives on Netflix November 20th, 2015.
