Director Ben Wheatley (High Rise) will be helming the REBECCA remake from a script by Jane Goldman (Kingsman franchise).

Rebecca tells the story of a newly-married young woman who, on arriving at her husband’s imposing family estate on a bleak English coast, finds herself battling the shadow of his dead first wife, the mysterious Rebecca, whose legacy continues to haunt the house.

Daphne du Maurier’s novel was first published back in 1938. This isn’t the first time the story has been on the big screen, a version in 1940 was directed by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock, which starred Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine.

The BODYGUARD actress took to social media to share her joy about starring in the remake of the movie saying: “Thrilled to bits and so grateful to be working with the incredible again. Can’t wait to work with this amazing cast “.
