The final chapter in the Hunger Games franchise hits cinemas in November and after a tease last month, the full-length trailer for Mockingjay – Part 2 has now arrived.
The film version of the last book in the YA series was split into two parts, the first of which arrived in cinemas last November – and it seems we have been waiting a lifetime since until the final instalment of the film lands this winter.
Jennifer Lawrence returns as Katniss Everdeen, who leads a revolution all the way to the evil President Snow’s (Donald Sutherland) front door.
The trailer sets us up nicely with anticipation as we see our HUNGER GAMES favourites back in action and more determined than ever to put an end to Snow’s ruthless reign and the terrible Games which haunt the districts.
Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Sam Claflin, Natalie Dormer and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman complete the casting ensemble.
The franchise has so far made over $2.3bn at the global box office and the final chapter is expected to bring this total to over $3bn.
