It seems that FANTASTIC FOUR actor Toby Kebbell is to set sail for KONG: SKULL ISLAND, as he as reportedly signed on for the project.
THR has revealed that Kebbell has joined the cast of the upcoming film alongside Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston and STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON’s Corey Hawkins.
Aside from his role in FANTASTIC FOUR, Kebbell is largely known for his performances in Guy Ritchie’s ROCKNROLLA and can next be seen on the big screen in BEN-HUR and Duncan Jones’ hotly anticipated movie WARCRAFT starring VIKING’s Travis Fimmel.
There is still very little we know about the plot, but we reported earlier this week that the script is currently being reworked by JURASSIC WORLD screenwriter Derek Connolly and Jordan Vogt-Roberts is calling the shots on this one.
The film is set to begin shooting in October, with locations said to include Hawaii, Vietnam and Iceland.Â
KONG: SKULL ISLANDÂ lands in cinemas March 10th, 2017.
