Jennifer Lawrence

Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence may soon be adding another movie franchise to her list, having starred in HUNGER GAMES and X-MEN and now according to Tracking Board the actress is in talks to join fellow Oscar winner Sandra Bullock (Gravity, The Blind Side) in Warner Bros.‘ all-new, all-female Ocean’s Eleven reboot.

The film will be directed and produced by HUNGER GAMES helmer, Gary Ross who has already worked with Lawrence in the popular franchise.

According to reports, the new film will be a continuation of the original films starring George Clooney, with Bullock playing Danny Ocean’s ex-con sister. With help from her right-hand woman, which will most likely be Lawrence filling the Brad Pitt slot, she’ll form a team of thieves to steal a necklace from the Met Ball in order to frame a villainous gallery owner.

Ocean’s Eleven remake trilogy filmmaker Steven Soderbergh has been onboard to develop the reboot with producers Clooney and the late Jerry Weintraub since 2014, with screenwriter Olivia Milch on screenplay duties.

Production is expected to commence in autumn.
