It’s not everyday we get to see Will Ferrell sporting braids, but now you can see his big-screen makeover in action for the first time in the GET HARD trailer.
In the comedy, Ferrell plays millionaire hedge fund manager mogul James King, who has been nailed for fraud and bound for a stretch in San Quentin. The judge gives him 30 days to get his affairs in order.
Desperate, he turns to Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart) to prep him for a life behind bars, but little does he know that Darnell is not in fact an ex-conman, but he is a hard-working small business owner who has never received a parking ticket, let alone been to prison.
Together, the two men do whatever it takes for James to “get hard” and, in the process, discover how wrong they were about a lot of things – including each other.
Watch the hilarious trailer to see Ferrell donned in red-cherckered boxers, an animal print sweatshirt and blue high tops – all of which he naively feels will help him to blend in during his stint in prison… We suspect things may not quite go to plan…
