We are not trying to boggle your mind here. Us cinemas lovers always like to work out the plot and guess the ending of a film, but in this case, it may not be quite as easy. The ending of BRIDGET JONES’S BABY will be far from predictable, as the cast and crew have filmed three alternative endings for the movie, so there is no definite way at this point of having any idea as to what may happen, just like the stars of the film.
The big reveal will only take place at the movie’s premiere, keeping the plot firmly under wraps and the audience guessing.
We can’t wait to have Bridget Jones back on the screen and once again Renee Zellweger’s unlucky-in-love London diary-keeper, who now has a baby, bringing us a bellyful of laughs. However, there is a slight problem – Bridget doesn’t know who the father is.
Speaking to the Sunday Express she revealed: “It’s kind of brilliant. None of the cast knows who fathered Bridget’s baby or who she’ll choose as her beau. The plan is to keep us all in the dark, right up to the premiere.”
Joining Zellweger in the movie is Colin Firth who is returning once more as the wonderfully uptight Mark Darcy and there is a new face thrown into the mix: Bridget’s on-again, off-again love interest, Mark Qwant played by GREY’S ANATOMY star, Patrick Dempsey.
The script has been penned by Helen Fielding, David Nicholls, who wrote the book ‘One Day’, and Emma Thompson.
BRIDGET JONES’S BABY is released in cinemas on April 22nd, 2016.
