With just eight days until the cinema release of THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES on December 12th, Warner Bros. has released three new clips from the film.
It is that time of year again when we look forward to another installment from THE HOBBIT trilogy – and unfortunately, this is the last one.  THE HOBBIT’s final outing certainly does not disappoint and it provides excitement, action, sadness and an epic 45-minute battle scene that leaves you astounded at the visionary genius of director Peter Jackson. The film picks up exactly where the last one left off with Smaug The Stupendous (Benedict Cumberbatch) heading towards Lake-town on a mission to burn it to ashes, with Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans) hoping to be the man to stop the beast.
Meanwhile, Bilbo (Martin Freeman) is inside Erebor with Thorin (Richard Armitage) and his company of dwarves, but the King Under the Mountain is suffering with dragon sickness and has become a changed individual – and not for the better.
With many wanting their share of the treasures in the mountain, all eyes turn towards the lonely mountain as elves, dwarves, humans and orcs all descend upon the mountain.
In the first clip entitled “I’m Not Asking” elven king Thranduil, played by Lee Pace, refuses to lose any more elves in battle and it is up to Bilbo to warn Thorin of the dangers that are lurking…

In the second clip, “Have You Not Had Your Fill of Death?” Bard the Bowman is forced to step up and rally the people of Lake-town into action and he suddenly finds himself becoming the leader of the frightened and helpless survivors…

The third and final clip sees a very cold and calculated Thranduil instruct orders to attack the mountain where Thorin and Company are harbouring the treasure. Despite the pleading request of Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to stand down, it seems an army of elves are intending to target Erebor…
