A LITTLE CHAOS sees Alan Rickman in the director’s chair for the second time in his career in the upcoming film which closed the Toronto Film Festival and now we get to see the first trailer for the drama.
Alan Rickman, who also wrote the screenplay, has created a wonderfully slow burning drama set in a garden of treachery, tragedy, pomposity and redemption.
Starring Academy Award winner Kate Winslet (Titanic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Matthias Schoenaerts (Rust and Bone, Bullhead) Academy Award nominee Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada, The Hunger Games), Danny Webb (Locke, Valkyrie) and Rickman himself, A Little Chaos follows Sabine (Winslet), a strong-willed landscape designer who challenges sexual and class barriers when she is chosen to build one of the main gardens at King Louis XIV’s new palace at Versailles, causing her to become professionally and romantically entangled with the court’s renowned landscape architect André Le Notre (Schoenaerts).
