Fast & Furious 7

It was only last week that Universal Pictures released an astonishing new clip from FAST & FURIOUS 7, which caused a lot of frenzy… That’s right, the scene with the impressive plane car drop scene from the film and now you can find out exactly how it happened.

The first official featurette for FAST & FURIOUS 7 offers a behind-the scenes look at the impressive plane car drop scene from the film, which you can watch below. The stunt co-ordinator discusses the logistics and aims of the scene, alongside the director and the aerial camera flyers explain just how complex it is to get the extraordinary footage – yes, they actually do throw themselves out of the plane shortly after the car is released into the air!

The film is the latest blockbuster to be released from the franchise, which once again reunites Vin Diesel, the late Paul WalkerDwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black.

Aside from the regular faces, there have been new additions to the assemble. British actor Jason Statham is set to be the new villian, after his appearance at the end of Fast & Furious 6 and Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell.

In the latest instalment, we see Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto and the rest of the gang dealing with the aftermath of their association with bad guy Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) in the last film. Dom and his posse decide to avenge to the death of Han, a former member of his gang. Complications arise when Han’s murderer, Ian Shaw (Statham), ensnares Toretto in his brother’s underground car racing syndicate.

This film is directed by James Wan and he is stepping in the shoes of Justin Lin, who directed the previous four films of the series.
