Warner Bros. Pictures has just released the trailer for their upcoming comedy, THE INTERN, starring Academy Award winners Anne Hathaway (LES MISÉRABLES, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES) and Robert De Niro (RAGING BULL, THE GODFATHER: PART II). You can see them in action in the trailer below.
The film has been written and directed by the Oscar nominated Nancy Meyers (SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE) and stars De Niro as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
Completing the casting ensemble are Rene Russo (THOR), Anders Holm (WORKAHOLICS), Andrew Rannells (GIRLS), Adam Devine (PITCH PERFECT), Celia Weston (NO RESERVATIONS), Nat Wolff (THE FAULT IN OUR STARS), Linda Lavin (WANDERLUST), Zack Pearlman (THE INBETWEENERS), newcomer Jason Orley, and Christina Scherer (LIVING WITH UNCLE CHARLIE).
