Disney has released a sneak peek preview of Kenneth Branagh’s CINDERELLA and a new behind-the-scenes featurette.
It’s not long before the the cinematic adaption of the classic fairytale, CINDERELLA hits our screens, and the new preview entitled Midnight Changes Everything was shown just before the stroke of midnight on the American TV channel, ABC.
The promos are in full swing for the film, as a behind-the-scenes featurette has also been released for the upcoming tale, which you can see in the video below.
The new movie stars DOWNTON ABBEY’s Lily James as Cinderella, with Cate Blanchett as her evil stepmother Lady Tremaine.
Cinderella’s parents are played by Hayley Atwell and Ben Chaplin stars as her father. Of course, sticking to the traditional fairytale, Cinderella will be left under the charge of her evil step-mother and her notorious ‘ugly’ stepsisters, who unite to make the orphan’s life a misery and do all the chores around the house.
Holliday Grainger and DOWNTON ABBEY star Sophie McShera play the terrible twosome, Anastasia and Drizella in this adaption and the very handsome Richard Madden of GAMES OF THRONES fame is perfect in the role of Prince Charming.
No Cinderella story would be perfect with their glorious Fairy Godmother to save the day and it is the enticing Helena Bonham Carter who steps into the magical shoes with her trusty wand to help the distressed fair maiden.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the film is brought to life using the timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece.
Cinderella is released in the US on March 13th and in the UK on March 27th.
