Sony Pictures’ survival thriller THE SHALLOWS has revealed a new trailer, featuring shark bait/leading lady Blake Lively (The Age of Adeline, The Town). Take a look at the trailer in the video player above.
In the taut thriller THE SHALLOWS, Nancy (Blake Lively) is surfing alone on a secluded beach when she is attacked by a great white shark and stranded just a short distance from shore. Though she is only 200 yards from her survival, getting there proves the ultimate contest of wills. It’s Jaws for a new generation.

Jaume Collet-Serra (Run All Night, Non-Stop) is in the director’s chair for this one, from the Black List script by Anthony Jaswinski, with Weimaraner Republic Pictures partners Lynn Harris and Matti Leshem producing.
The film also stars Oscar Jaenada and Sedona Legge.
The Shallows will hit UK cinemas in August 2016.
