Focus Features has released the brand new official trailer for the upcoming drama The Mustang, starring Matthias Schoenaerts, which sees Robert Redford as Executive Producer. Take a look at the footage in the video player below.

You know any film that involves the legend that is Robert Redford in front of or behind the camera, is going to provide two hours well spent. After watching this trailer, it looks set to take the audience on an emotional journey.

Taking the lead in this one is Matthias Schoenaerts who plays Roman, a convict in a rural Nevada prison who struggles to escape his violent past. He is required to participate in an “outdoor maintenance” program as part of his state-mandated social rehabilitation. Spotted by a no-nonsense veteran trainer (Bruce Dern) and helped by an outgoing fellow inmate and trick rider (Jason Mitchell), Roman is accepted into the selective wild horse training section of the program, where he finds his own humanity in gentling an especially unbreakable mustang.
