Twentieth Century Fox has unveiled a new trailer for JOY, the brand new comedy-drama from Oscar nominated director David O. Russell (SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK).
There is no denying that JOY boasts a fantastic cast featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro who have teamed up with the Oscar-nominated director for yet another movie, this time about the life of Joy Mangano, the entrepreneur behind the “Miracle Mop” and other products.
Lawrence stars as Mangano, De Niro plays her father and Cooper plays the Home Shopping Network executive who gave Mangano’s career a boost.
Russell has been nominated for best director at the Oscars for the last two years, but missed out. Will this be the year that he finally grabs a coveted gong?
JOY is released on December 25th in the US and a week later in the UK on January 1st, 2016.
