Netflix has released a new trailer for GRACE AND FRANKIE, its original comedy series starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as women of a certain age who unexpectedly discover their husbands are gay — and plan to leave their wives to get married.

With a couple of powerhouse actresses involved with Fonda and Tomlin: the 9 to 5 co-stars are reuniting for GRACE AND FRANKIE, a comedy in which they play women who learn during a double-date dinner that their husbands are in love with each other.

After the shock revelations, the “five stages of Grace and Frankie,” commence: shock, denial, confusion, rage, and reflection. The women are forced to turn to each other to deal with these life-shattering changes, as Robert (Martin Sheen) and Sol (Sam Waterston) are not only in love; they plan to divorce their wives and marry each other.

GRACE AND FRANKIE was created by FRIENDS co-creator Marta Kauffman and HOME IMPROVEMENT producer Howard J. Morris and all 13 episodes will debut on May 8th. Completing the casting ensemble are Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry and Baron Vaughn.

Joe Morton, Geoff Stults, Ernie Hudson, and Barry Bostwick are among Season 1’s guest stars.

GRACE AND FRANKIE premieres on May 8th on Netflix.
