The official trailer for Marvel’s ANT-MAN is finally here, featuring both Paul Rudd & Michael Douglas.Â
With its ant-sized trailer and miniature poster, you’d be forgiven in thinking you might been a magnifying glass for its Superhero trailer. Fear not, it’s suitable for humans and it’s awesome!
The trailer see’s Hank Pym (Douglas) approach Scott Lang (Rudd), asking him to become the man he’s meant to be, a hero the world needs and a fitting role model for his young daughter; Ant Man.
Directed by YES MAN‘s Peyton Reed, it’s great to see the new trailer mix the right amount of witty humour that Rudd is known for, with some great introduction to action as well as an obligatory abs shot from our hero. Â
THE HOBBIT star, Evangeline Lilly, can also be seen kicking butt, starring as Hope Van Dyne and we also get a little glimpse at the personal side to the narrative, with a look at Lang’s relationship with his daughter.Â
Skeptics were initially worried as to how a superhero who can shrink to the size of an ant, yet possess super strength, could be adapted to the big screen for a huge blockbuster. Perhaps the new trailer will put their minds at ease as the impressive mix of humour and action lead into a dark and exciting story!Â
