Some of the biggest names in film are returning to our screens in THE SECOND BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL.
Dame Maggie Smith, Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Dev Patel are some of the names joining newcomer Richard Gere in the new movie, which seems to be full of Bollywood fun and humour judging by the newly released trailer.
Dev Patel returns as Sonny, the optimistic owner of the Indian resort who is aiming to achieve his dream of expanding his enterprise.
THE SECOND BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL promises the up and downs of love, surrounded by the beauty of India. As well as the exploration of the young hotelier trying to find investors for a second hotel, the plot also focuses on Sonny dealing with the arrangements for his marriage to Sunaina, the love of his life.
However the older generation are not exempt from the perils of love, which is reflected through the drama surrounding Evelyn (Dench) and Douglas’ (Nighy) relationship.
Norman and Carol (Ronald Pickup and Diana Hardcastle) are also dealing with the difficulties of relationships, while Celia Imrie’s character Madge juggles two wealthy suitors who just so happen to be very eligible.
Newcomer Richard Gere also causes a stir as he arrives at the hotel, where space is already scarce.
John Madden sits in the director’s chair for THE SECOND BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, which promises some exciting, entertaining Bollywood moves.
