Exciting news for Underworld fans as director, Len Wiseman, talks a TV series and sequels at Comic-Con.
There to promote the Sleepy Hollow TV series, Len Wiseman spoke about some exciting news surrounding the Vampire/Werewolf franchise. Wiseman told IGN that there were two more movies in the woodwork and one may feature original Vampire beauty, Kate Beckinsale!Â
Despite Beckinsale previously mentioning that a return to Underworld would be “unlikely” for her, we’re thinking, considering her and Wiseman are married, he’s sure to twist her arm, right? Let’s hope so! Not only do we have new movies to look forward to but a television series also!Â
Wiseman told IGN; “There’s some characters that we really like that [will be in] more of a spin-off of some of the characters, like we did with Rise of the Lycans. And then another film is also being developed in the works with Kate possibly as well. And then there’s a television series as well. So it’s all kind of expanding that universe in many ways”.Â
Although Wiseman can’t say which will go ahead first or when, it’s good news all round, am I right?Â
