Following the successful UK premiere at Glasgow Film Festival last week, Lionsgate has announced that THE VANISHING will be in cinemas from 29th March. To celebrate the impending release, they have also debuted key artwork for the movie, which you can see below.
Set on an uninhabited island 20 miles from the rugged Scottish coast, The Vanishing tells the story of three lighthouse keepers who stumble on something that isn’t theirs to keep. What follows is an isolation and paranoia-fed battle for survival as the men venture down a path of destruction.
The film is being brought to the big screen by the producers of BLACK MASS and HACKSAW RIDGE, with Kristoffer Nyholm (The Killing) in the director’s chair for this one.
The film stars Gerard Butler, Peter Mullan, Connor Swindells and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
