Doctor Who – No! Sho! Blo!

The intergalactic Old Bill are back! When Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor returns, she’ll come face to face with an old adversary, the Judoon.

Debuting in 2007’s ‘Smith and Jones’ the rhino-headed Judoon transported a London hospital to the moon to hunt down a shapeshifting alien, posing as a human patient.

The Judoon have since appeared sporadically in smaller cameos as guards at the headquarters of the Shadow Proclamation, and members of the alliance that imprisoned the Eleventh Doctor in the Pandorica. They also, stampeded across to Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures in search of a body-hopping fugitive.

Apart from a lone Dalek scout in ‘Resolution’ the Thirteenth Doctor’s first season was free from any old foes, with the show focusing instead on new threats like the Stenza and the Morax.

In the new episode, the Judoon will storm the streets of Gloucester to fulfil their mission. And set photos reveal that at least one of the brutish law enforcers is sporting a fashionable new hair-do, a mohawk.

Why the Judoon have returned to Earth, is as yet unrevealed, but it’d be fair to assume that they will not bring joy.

The episode will also star acclaimed actor Neil Stuke, in an unknown role. Neil has started in Doctor Foster, Silk, and Silent Witness.
