‘The Guvnors’ DVD & Blu-ray Release December 29th

In his first feature-film role, Rizzle Kicks member Harley Sylvester stars in a new Brit Grit thriller, THE GUVNORS, that showcases a host of young, British talent.

From the director of IN THE HANDS OF GOD and THE CLASS OF 92, Gabe Turner, comes a violent new thriller that tells the story of Adam (Sylvester) and his desperate need to prove his worth on the mean streets of South East London.

Leaving his gang life behind, Mitch, played by Doug Allen (THE FIRM, GANGSTER NUMBER ONE), tries to forget his turbulent upbringing and violent past as leader of the notorious football firm The Guvnors. 

Now residing in the suburbs, Mitch’s past comes back to haunt him when Adam rocks up in desperate need to inherit Mitch’s reputation and vanquish his legend. 

The two men must relive their past and risk their future in order to succeed. Blood will spill, lives will change and The Guvnors will rule.  

Turner’s sinister tale of British gang culture explores the boundaries of personal demons, violence and cultural identity. 

Also starring in this slick British drama is David Essex, Martin Hancock, Jay Simpson, Charlie Palmer Merkell, Paul Reynolds, Vas Blackwood, Tony Denham and Richard Blackwood.
