Terminator Genisys

There’s no denying that TERMINATOR GENISYS did not score favourably amongst critics when it hit the screens earlier this year and after mounting rumours that the franchise is dead, it seems that will not be the case, instead it will be ‘resting.’

That’s the message that is being stressed by the folks at Skydance Productions, who had to watch TERMINATOR GENISYS take a critical beat-down at the domestic box office this summer. Despite being down, they’re certainly not out, as Skydance Chief Creative Officer Dana Goldberg insists that the series will be back and ready to win over the hearts and minds of cinema fans once again..

At The Wrap’s 6th Annual Media Leadership Conference, Goldberg addressed the mixed results of the fifth TERMINATOR film, but despite reports that there will be no more films for a while in the franchise, it seems as though the next installment is not not on hold as previously reported. Goldberg has stated : “I wouldn’t say on hold, so much as re-adjusting.”

How long it will take for the ‘re-adjustment’ is anybody’s guess, but it seems there is still hope that the franchise will rectify its latest offering.
