We love it! Two new clips from season five of GAME OF THRONES and an enticing new poster for the series have arrived. We were excited before – and now we can barely contain ourselves!
We still have over a month to go until the fifth season starts, but the two new clips are enough to keep us entertained – for now!Â
The clips, feature Gwendoline Christie‘s Brienne of Tarth, as well as Kit Harington‘s Jon Snow and Ciaran Hinds‘ Maynce Rayder, the Wildling leader.Â
The new season of GAME OF THRONES promises to bring about a meeting of two worlds. That’s the message carried across by the poster for season 5, in which a ship carrying Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) comes up against one of Daenerys’s (Emilia Clarke) three dragons. It’s a sinister image, and one that is true to the action of the series so far: Tyrion, in exile, is fleeing to a domain that the Mother of Dragons controls.
The author of the popular books, George R.R. Martin has teased fans of his books and the show to expect the unexpected as season 5 is going to deviate from the source material.Â
We simply cannot wait!Â
Season 5 of Game of Thrones starts airing on HBO on April 12 and on Sky Atlantic for UK viewers the day after on April 13th.
