Universal Pictures and Working Title have released the first behind the scenes featurette of the upcoming action adventure epic EVEREST, which you can watch below. Â
It was only less than a week ago that we saw the first trailer for EVEREST and now we are being spoilt even more with the featurette, which provides a glimpse into the stunning scale of this epic production which sees the cast and crew filming on location and battling with the elements.Â
Baltasar Kormakur was in the director’s seat for this one which is inspired by the incredible events surrounding an attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, Everest documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival. Â
The epic adventure stars Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Michael Kelly, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson and Jake Gyllenhaal.
EVEREST will storm into cinemas 24th September, 2015.
