In a world first, the movie will open to the public in the UK and Ireland on the same night as the world premiere on October 26th.

But for fans wanting to secure a seat, Sony Pictures has announced tickets can be booked as of 7am on September 7th across the UK and Ireland, giving cinema audiences the opportunity to book their tickets in advance to see Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment’s SPECTRE.

SPECTRE is the hugely-anticipated 24th film in the James Bond franchise and will be looking forward to following on from the success of SKYFALL, the 23rd James Bond film, was a worldwide box office phenomenon, opening #1 in 70 territories around the world and earning over $1.1 billion worldwide. SKYFALL set a new all-time box office record in the UK by becoming the first and only film ever to earn over £100 million, a record which remains unbeaten.

Peter Taylor, Managing Director, Sony Pictures Releasing UK commented ‘The success of Skyfall proves yet again the enduring appetite of audiences for great stories from the world of James Bond.  SPECTRE will enhance, continue and develop that world, and we are delighted to give audiences the opportunity to ensure they will be amongst the first to experience it by booking their seats in advance.”

Skyfall director Sam Mendes is back behind the camera and actor Daniel Craig returns in spy mode.

The 24th James Bond adventure sees Bond embarking on a rogue mission to Mexico City, following a cryptic message from his past.

He then also heads to Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra, the widow of an infamous criminal.

He starts to uncover the existence of a sinister organisation, Spectre, and infiltrates a secret meeting.

Back in Blighty, his trusty team of Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) help him find Madeleine Swann, the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen) – who may hold the clue to untangling the web of Spectre.
