Lionsgate has confirmed the release date for upcoming movie, SKIN. The movie arrives in cinemas from 27th September, followed by digital release on 30th September and DVD release on 7th October.

Jamie Bell looks completely different in his role and if you haven’t yet seen the trailer for the movie, then check out the footage for SKINS in the video player below.

The documentary has been penned by Bill Brummel, who was on double duty for this one as he was also in the director’s chair too. SKIN tells the story of Byron Widner, a man raised by racist skinheads who risks his life to leave a white supremacy group in order to become a better person and have a chance at a new normal life with Julie. Widner was the subject of the 2011 documentary ERASING HATE which is about his efforts in removing his numerous racist facial tattoos.
