‘The Voice UK’ from creator Talpa Media was brought by ITV for £355 million earlier in the year, and now, according to Simon Cowell, it would be a good move if they began airing the show on their channel as well.

The screening of THE VOICE UK on ITV would mean it would have to be taken from the BBC, who, as it was announced in August, sacked both Rita Ora and Tom Jones from their panel of judges. Cowell feels that the situation that arisen could have been dealt with better, as legendary singer Tom Jones confirmed that he was not even aware of the cut until the very last minute.

The two new inductees for the panel of judges this year will be Boy George and Paloma Faith, things don’t seem to be running smoothly just yet, with the new pair reported to of been involved in an intense argument which happened during filming.

Whilst Cowell did go on to admit that taking the show from BBC would be a little unfair as they have made it into a great one, he also went onto say that he wouldn’t see a problem with ITV airing the show if they were to win the rights.

So if ITV does decide to do a snatch and grab on THE VOICE, that would mean it would have to share a home with THE X FACTOR! Not a good decision in my eyes, meaning the drama could intensify even more with the two singing competitions on the same channel.
