A loving father has to deal with devastating tragedy in Misan Harriman’s dark drama short THE AFTER.

Whilst out around London Waterloo with his daughter, Dayo (David Oyelowo) suffers a traumatic experience. Coming to terms with his status quo through his work as a taxi driver, the reflective emotions of his passengers begin to tap into elements of his own well-being that become more potent….

Photographer-turned-filmmaker Harriman’s tight but well-coordinated drama taps into the zeitgeist of a major cultural issue in London at a time when law and order is being questioned all the way through the ranks. The presence of Oyelowo both in front of and behind the camera adds much poise to a film that will generate much interest.
