How we love Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con panel, as it always delivers exciting news and this year has been no different as it was officially confirmed that Taika Waititi is back in the director’s chair for THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER.

So the followup to the 2017 sequel THOR: RAGNAROK will be officially titled THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER. They also revealed on the panel that a familiar face will be returning for the latest installment – Natalie Portman as Jane Foster…

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will also return as Thor and Valkyrie, respectively. The female Thor storyline is based on Jason Aaron’s run on “The Mighty Thor” in which a cancer-stricken Jane Foster takes up the mantle and powers of Thor.
