There is already so much anticipation surrounding the upcoming DEADPOOL flick starring Ryan Reynolds and the actor knows how to tease fans by sharing a bloodied and roughed-up picture of himself on Twitter.
Production is still underway in Vancouver on 20th Century Fox’s feature film and the actor also revealed that they’re halfway through the shoot on the highly-anticipated movie.
The actor will also be reprising the role he played in X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE alongside Hugh Jackman.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Ryan Reynolds stars as the titular character alongside TJ Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax.
DEADPOOL is scheduled for release on February 12th, 2016.
