Robert Downey Jr’s Ironman will star in yet another Marvel film…

It seems we will be seeing a lot more of Robert Downey Jr’s Ironman, as Sony Pictures has officially confirmed that the Marvel hero will be appearing in the upcoming SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man.

The duo can already be seen lighting up the screening together in the upcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and their relationship will be further expanded on in the 2017 film.

The SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING cast is also set to include Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Zendaya as a character by the name of Michelle, with Laura Harrier (One Life to Live) and Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel) set to play two of Peter’s other friends.

HOMECOMING has been penned by VACATION writers and directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein and will be directed by Jon Watts.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING is set to begin on the film this summer in Atlanta with the film hitting cinemas on July 7th, 2017.
