Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles set for sequel
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set for a 2016 sequel.

Cowabunga dude! It’s been confirmed that production on the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES sequel will commence in April in New York City and Buffalo.

It was wayyy back in August last year that we brought the news of Paramount‘s plans for another instalment of the movie. The sequel will see EARTH TO ECHO’s David Green in the director’s chair replacing TMNT’s Jonathan Liebesman, who is instead working on bringing a King Arthur project called MAN AT ARMS to the big screen from a script by Josh Appelbaum and AndrĂ© Nemec.

It seems as though Megan Fox and William Fichtner will be reprising their roles, although there has been no official confirmation of their involvement just yet.

Great news all around then for fans of the first TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES film, which received mixed reviews amongst critics.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 is slated for a June 3rd, 2016 release.
