It was only last week that the full line-up for this year’s Cannes Film Festival was announced and now it’s been revealed that Pixar’s INSIDE OUT will makes its debut.
The 68th film festival will run from 13 – 24 May and once again this year, there are some big movies set to screen alongside Pixar’s latest, including Woody Allen’s IRRATIONAL MAN, THE LITTLE PRINCE and of course there is also the big film MAD MAX: FURY ROAD showing in the Out Of Competition category.
Other movies which are causing buzz include Matthew McConaughey’s THE SEA OF TREES and MACBETH starring Michael Fassbender.
Despite all of the excitement and anticipation building up around said movies, INSIDE OUT is definitely one of the must-see films to watch, especially for those who enjoy animation and Pixar films.
We have had to wait for nearly two years until we could see another Pixar film – their last movie was 2013′s sequel MONSTERS UNIVERSITY was their last.
2015 is set to be a big year for the studio, as for the first time in its history, they are releasing two features films in a single calendar year, something which they have never done before. As mentioned INSIDE OUT will enjoy its first screening in Cannes and is then scheduled for UK cinema release on July 24th.
A few months later, THE GOOD DINOSAUR is slated for release November 27th.
With so many animated movies causing such a buzz over the last 12 months with hits such as FROZEN and BIG HERO 6, will we see INSIDE OUT repeating the same feat? That might possibly be the case…
